Visit Macon and the Macon Beyond team invite you to an unforgettable, never-before-offered experience inside one of Macon’s most elegant and storied landmarks—Burke Mansion. For the first time, guests will have the rare opportunity to spend the night in this historic property while taking part in an immersive ghost hunt experience, Friday, October 3rd.
This exclusive event will be hosted by actress & producer Carrie Genzel, with popular roles in horror TV and film projects such as The Walking Dead, Supernatural, Jennifer's Body, Dead Rising: Watchtower, Evil Feed, and They're Watching. Alongside our highly experienced guides, spiritual medium Morrighan Lynne, and paranormal investigator Jonathan Morgan, the team whose appearance has also been featured in Visit Macon’s Macon Beyond video series.
The evening will begin with a ‘meet-and-greet your hosts’ reception featuring wine, signature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and small plates, followed by a guided overnight paranormal investigation through the mansion’s most intriguing spaces.
Built in 1887, Burke Mansion is a treasured part of Macon’s historic district. This event blends luxury hospitality with a thrilling exploration of its rumored paranormal activity, creating an unforgettable stay for history enthusiasts, adventurers, and seekers of the unknown.
Guests may choose from two ways to take part:
Friday, October 3rd; 6pm – Ghost Hunt Event Only – Tickets are $45; Includes a cocktail reception, entry into event raffle opportunities, a late-night paranormal investigation, an event t-shirt, and a Macon Macabre Walking Tour with Rock Candy Tours.
October 3rd-5th – Luxury Stay + Ghost Hunt Experience – A two-night stay at the Burke Mansion, complete with breakfast, complimentary parking, a Macon Macabre Walking Tour with Rock Candy Tours, and event-themed gift baskets with Macon, Georgia swag. Includes the October 3rd group hunt: Beginning with a VIP meet & greet opening hour, followed by a cocktail reception, entry into event raffle opportunities, a late-night paranormal investigation, and an event t-shirt. Suites (1-2 guests): $500 package / Carriage House (2–4 guests): $1000 package
