After the screening, join us for a live Q&A with filmmaker Virginia Quesada. Danny Gatton (1945-1994) was renowned for his extraordinary technical skill and versatility across multiple genres, including rockabilly, jazz, blues, and country. Often referred to as "The Humbler," Gatton blended these styles with an effortless virtuosity that earned him a reputation as one of the most gifted and underrated guitarists of his time. Despite his relatively low commercial profile, his innovative approach and dazzling performances left a lasting impact on guitar players and enthusiasts worldwide.
