You are invited to join Cosmo & Rachel for an Odessey into the sounds of The Universe; journeying into the primordial frequencies of existence, held in the presence of a magical witness crystal from the Hindu Kush Mountains.
We begin our day by collectively crafting octahedral crystal grids in the practice space – these are sacred geometric portals that align earth and sky, inner and outer, self and cosmos – by doing so we create a container where there is an opportunity to open gateways to profound peace, deep relaxation and the luminous territories of our inner realms.
Our day unfolds like a lotus opening to the Sun; we transition into a joyful exploration of the magical practice of Overtoning where we discover the hidden voices within our voices, creating polyphonic soundscapes that shimmer like light through water. This playful practice awakens our ears and our vocal cords to the infinite harmonies that live within every sound.
Then we journey into the sacred art of AUM’ing, where breath becomes prayer and voice becomes The Universe speaking through us. Here, the Overtoning we’ve just practiced finds its perfect home – for the AUM itself, beginning with A and U, naturally births overtones as we sound it.
In the luminous field of our witness crystal, we’ll discover how to ride these harmonic waves, creating the primordial sound that echoes through all of creation, reverberating through every living being, connecting us to the cosmic symphony.
The afternoon draws us even deeper into sound, culminating with Cosmo and Rachel working collaboratively to weave sonic tapestries of sound that can wash away accumulated tensions from the everyday world; this soothing soundscape will consolidate your day, leaving you connected to self and the HUM of The Universe.
Please be aware that this workshop involves periods of being seated in stillness and silence, if this would be a challenge for you another practice may serve you better at this time.
There will be a break for a communal shared lunch; please bring a small vegetarian dish/offering to share with the group.
