Mark those calendars! Coming up March 8th:The Howard/Hughes Project is a collaboration between husband and wife team Lisa Kay Howard (mandolin, vocals) and Wally Hughes (fiddle, Dobro, vocals); joined by their super talented friends Jack Dunlap on guitar, Dean Phillips on banjo, and Joe Hannabach on bass.
Lisa and Wally have performed together with a bunch of bands in the last 18 years, including Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, East Of Monroe, and Level Best, but are excited to branch out and do their own thing. Expect to hear serious, driving bluegrass, with hot picking and beautiful harmonies, when these five get together.
Wally is especially looking forward to seeing folks from his old stomping grounds on the Eastern Shore. We can't wait to play for you!
