Saturday January 24th we are excited to bring the highly acclaimed House Music pioneer RALF GUM to Melbourne for his ONLY Australian show. Join us for The House of Ralf Gum, a taste of what has been an incredible journey of house music since the 90’s to present day. Known worldwide for his soulful, groove-driven DJ sets and productions, Ralf continues to shape the genre with a signature sound that captivates a new generation. His label GOGO Music has been a global standard in soulful house since its conception in his native Germany in 2001 which led to Ralf emigrating to the world's current hot-bed for Soulful Music, South Africa in 2012 and responsible for classics such as ‘Take Me To My Love’ (Monique Bingham), Gardens Of Eden (Black Coffee), ‘Burning Star’ (Kafele) to name but a few. The hallmark of Ralf’s sound is his love for jazzy harmonies coupled with wicked, typical underground beats. But the distinctive groove isn’t the only reason for Ralf’s success – his soulful sensibility shines through in all he does and helps him creating an irresistible groove every time he works the studio or the turntables.We look forward to a beautiful gathering at Wax Music Lounge - fast becoming a hotbed of Melbourne live & electronic underground music powered by the custom Pitt & Giblin sound system with incredible support from the local Melbourne’s Chris NG, Kgomotso & Neo plus Auckland’s Massimo & Sydney’s Kasanova.
