We here at Mockingbird Comedy know the start of a new school year is always stressful, so we're offering teachers and educators a chance to blow off some steam during The Hot For Teacher Comedy Show: Back-to-School Blowout at 5 pm on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Old Stove Brewing Co. - Gardens in Ballard. A little-known secret in the comedy world is that many stand-ups are also teachers and educators. We'll have a teachers lounge full of them spinning jokes about the chalk life. Tickets are an educator-friendly $15. The beer is cold, the jokes are hot and the parking is free ... Come laugh with us!
