The HORDE Festival Revival presented by The Core brings back the energy of the legendary '90s HORDE Festivals, with songs from Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Blues Traveler, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, The Allman Brothers, Gov't Mule, Spin Doctors, and more.
It’s a journey back to a time when these bands were young and hungry, with tracks from '92-'98 that still resonate, especially for those who were in their late teens to 20s back then. It’s a return to a pre-digital world—before cell phones, streaming, and responsibilities—reminding us of the unforgettable songs that soundtracked our adventures.
The band features top Georgia musicians including Josh Carson (Acoustic Workshop, Parts & Labor), Bo Hembree (Dreams So Real, Diablo Sandwich), Chris Queen (Allgood, Phil Keaggy, Dreams So Real), Clay Fuller (Allgood), Wayne Healy (Freddy Jones Band), and David Fisch (David Fisch & The Bent Hooks), all anchored by a solid rhythm section of Kevin Leahy (Bodeans, Sugarland, Shawn Mullins, Allgood, Zac Brown), Rob Sumowski (Allgood, Billy Pilgrim, Shawn Mullins, Kevn Kinney, Brent Cobb), and Bill Taylor (Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band, Jupiter Coyote, The Bitteroots).
Traveler's Blues
For most bands, covering Blues Traveler is a challenge. For Travelers Blues, it's a passion! The band began when guitarist Scott Hardy had what he and his friends thought was a moonshot idea, however it was an idea worth considering! He put his thoughts on social media with an ambitious goal: find talent capable of honoring the signature blend of powerful vocals and mind-bending harmonica solos that define the sound of John Popper. Seemingly overnight, things started falling in place.
Established in mid 2025, Atlanta based Traveler's Blues faithfully reproduces the blend of blues, rock, and improvisational jams that identify Blues Traveler's sound. To achieve this, two musicians pouring their talents into a single alchemy yields John Popper's iconic technique. David Fisch (The Bent Hooks, The Core - H.O.R.D.E. Festival Revival), is a seasoned harmonica player who captures the spirit of Popper's unique riffs, combined with Chris Iconis (The Amazing Mongooses, The Platonics, Moontower, and the New Originals), delivering vocals, guitar, and keyboards with soulful and powerful conviction.
On guitar is Scott Hardy (Pushback, Moonlight Ride), who channels the distinctive style of Chan Kinchla. On bass is the incomparable Jerbo Foti (Frankly Scarlet), deciphering the otherworldly Bobby Sheehan. And on drums is Alek Gayton, a polished drummer who brings the hard-hitting beats and grooves of Brendan Hill.
