Comics for the Night:
Host Jon Torgy is a Chicago suburbs-based comedian. He is a father of 2 and the Host and creator of the podcast TorgyTalk. He likes to share his experiences and funny stories about being a father, and mixes in some edgy humor to go along with it. Jon has performed at the Vixen in McHenry, Comedy Plex and the Red Room. He has shared the stage with comics like Peyton Ruddy, Abi Sanchez and Paul Faravhar. When he isn’t performing you can find him trying to be a great dad and editing his podcast.
Guest Feature Alex Ridge is a Chicago-based stand-up comedian from LaGrange Park, Illinois, known for his laid-back and relaxed style of comedy. His sharp wit and effortless delivery have earned him a spot on Comedy Plex Comedy Club’s “Watch List,” highlighting him as a comedian on the rise. Alex has performed all across the Midwest, bringing his unique perspective and easygoing humor to audiences throughout the region.
Guest Feature Keaton Ford is a Chicago-based comedian who has performed at Zanies, Laugh Factory, and Second City. He’s also performed in bowling alleys and pool halls, proving that no venue is too good–or too questionable–for him. His comedy blends self-deprecation with dark takes on generational differences, social absurdities, and whatever crisis he’s currently navigating. Keaton’s bold delivery and quick wit often leave audiences laughing at things they probably shouldn’t.
Our Headliner James Fisher Jr. is originally from Louisville, Kentucky, moved to Chicago, and started doing comedy in 2012. Growing up, he loved watching Comic View, a stand-up comedy show on BET, and In Living Color, with the Wayans family, Jim Carrey, and Jamie Fox being huge influences from that show. Since he started, he has performed at all the local Chicago clubs (Zanies, Laugh Factory, and Comedy Bar), in comedy festivals all over the United States, won several competitions, and featured and opened for Jacob Williams (America's Got Talent, Wild n Out), Hans Kim (K*ll Tony Podcast), and SNL alumni Tim Meadows and Chris Redd. He has even created his own sketch comedy web series, VaudevilleTV. James is an energetic, funny, controversial, yet personable entertainer who is always ready to have fun with the crowd!
