Comedian Bio's for the Night:
Host Jessi Realz roots her art in community building, the dismantling of oppressive systems, and uplifting underrepresented voices. Jessi has traveled the country to perform and teach artistic workshops. Born and raised in Mexico, Jessi uses her rich Mexican background as a source for inspiration when devising plays, creating stand up, writing original sketch and web pieces, and directing new works. Jessi is the co-founder and artistic creative force behind Tus Tías, Ratas de Dos Patas, and Las Tinas. Jessi has produced comedy shows all over Chicago that focus on highlighting BIPOC, LBGTQIA+, disabled, and marginalized artists.
Guest Feature Kat Diaz hails from the rough streets of Des Moines, Iowa, but has called Chicago home for the last 10 years. Her humor can be described as a dry piece of toast buttered with wordplay and served with physical act outs that make you wonder "CAN all Latinas dance? Kat has trained at The Second City and her credits include Laugh Factory, Den Theatre and the Latina Comedy Festival. She currently produces Mi Gente at the Lincoln Lodge.
Main Feature Dana Ehrmann is a stand-up comic and simple Midwestern gal who calls Milwaukee, WI home. Her self-deprecating, dry humor has charmed audiences all over the country, as a regular at The Laughing Tap, Milwaukee Improv, and Comedy On State and as a selected performer of the Flyover, Tree Town and Altercation Comedy Festivals. She's also opened for Joe Pera, Bobcat Goldthwait, Kyle Kinane, Charlie Berens and more. Come find out why Milwaukee Magazine named her one of the “5 Comics You Need to Know About” and why her exes called her, “Great. No, seriously. I’m just not looking for anything serious right now.”
