Comedian Bio's for the Night:
Host Kat Diaz hails from the rough streets of Des Moines, Iowa, but has called Chicago home for the last 10 years. Her humor can be described as a dry piece of toast buttered with wordplay and served with physical act outs that make you wonder "CAN all Latinas dance? Kat has trained at The Second City and her credits include Laugh Factory, Den Theatre and the Latina Comedy Festival. She currently produces Mi Gente at the Lincoln Lodge
Guest Feature AJ Leidig started making internet videos during college and quickly discovered a love for comedy. Now he uses that same wit on stage across Chicago, the suburbs, and Milwaukee!
Main Feature Mike Fountain is the host for the largest nationally touring comedy festival, The World Series Of Comedy. He started acting at the age of 10 and after his first laugh he was hooked. Mike has studied at The Second City and iO (formerly Improv Olympic) and is now an improv coach himself. Audiences have described Mike’s comedy as “Reliably Entertaining” with the ability to connect to people with stories about wacky family members and how He navigates through everyday life.
Headliner Jose Montero is a Latin American based out of Wisconsin, is renowned for his fast-paced and engaging performances. Jose has graced Theaters and Clubs across the US, including Zanies and Laugh Factory, and is ready to bring his unique brand of humor to The Hope and Anchor.
