The Flour/Flower City may be home, but how much do you know about our forebears? In this class, students will encounter many of the diverse people – canallers and clergy, brewers and nurserymen, enslaved-and-freed-people, suffragettes and immigrants, mill-owners and “mechanics” – who, in the 19th century, laid the foundation for the lives we lead along the Genesee today.
