Discover how Phoenix Cricket Club, founded in 1830, reflects Ireland's journey from empire to independence and multiculturalism. Through cricket, explore class, colonialism, nationalism and identity in Dublin across nearly two centuries. A lively talk delivered by John Mullins, story teller extraordinaire! Starts at 3pm on Friday 21st August in our historic cricket pavilion. All welcome. This is for you if you have an interest in social history or are cricket curious or just want to have a look around. We'll even give you a cup of cricket tea!
