Shipwrecks fascinate divers, historians and anyone with an imagination who's been near a Great Lake on a stormy day. They can tell stories of courage and heroism, but also those of cowardice and greed. Shipwrecks also illustrate the changing nature of shipping on the Great Lakes, as well as the evolution of Michigan from territory to frontier state to the modern era.

Priority registration will be given to Troy Public Library card holders. If you do not have a TPL-issued library card, you may register without a card to be put on the Pending Waitlist. If there is space available one week before the program you will be moved to the main registration list and notified.
