Join us for the grand opening of The Hilgermann Center for Community on November 22nd from 6PM-8PM! The Hilgermann is a beautiful historic building in the heart of downtown Rhinelander and is home to three local businesses as well as a community space for events, gatherings, and private rentals.
This is a free event open to the public that features live jazz music and light refreshments. All of our businesses and spaces will be open for you tour and meet the business owners.
The Hilgermann Center for Community was established in 2024 by Nate and Andrea Sheppard, Rhinelander-based artists and entrepreneurs with a passion for investing in the local community.
Three fantastic businesses are now open in our building: Childs Frame Co., Crate Digger's Music & More, and Nate Sheppard Media. Learn more about them all at www.thehilgermann.com/businesses.
The Hilgermann Center was named after Otto Hilgermann, the man who build the building in 1915 and whose name still graces the facade. Our mission is to anchor ourselves to the past while also looking to the future and providing engaging experiences and opportunities for the local community.
Come celebrate this momentous occasion with us and stop by again from 10AM-2PM on Saturday, November 23 to do some holiday shopping with a full vendor market in addition to our regular businesses!
