The Hidden Colors of Fall

What makes leaves change from green to red, orange, and yellow? Explore the science of seasonal color change and investigate the different pigments found inside leaves. Using a hands-on chromatography experiment, we’ll separate and reveal pigments that aren’t always visible to the naked eye. Then, get creative and make your own fall tree craft to take home and enjoy! This program is recommended for ages 8 and up.
