We are so excited to welcome Coinneach MacLeod to the Scottish Cultural Society of Dunedin! This event will include Scottish storytelling, music and more! Born & raised on the Isle of Lewis, the most northerly of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, he is Scotland's bestselling cookbook author and is featured on the Canadian bestseller list. He began by sharing videos online of traditional recipes along with adventures throughout the islands with over 26 million video views, and has inspired his followers to bake, forage, learn Gaelic, have a dram or two of whisky and want to visit the Scottish islands.
In 2021, he released his debut cookbook, The Hebridean Baker, Recipes and Wee Stories from the Scottish Islands and it became Scotland’s best selling cookbook of the year, it has now been released in the US, Canada and Australia,and in 2022 released My Scottish Island Kitchen.
