Join WNC journalists and community members for a free live storytelling event inrecognition of the anniversary of Hurricane Helene: The Heart of the Mountains.
One year after the storm, our mountains still echo with stories of courage, kindness, and
community. Neighbors became lifelines. Strangers became family.
Now, we’re coming together to honor that resilience through an evening of storytelling
and conversation.
