About this Event
The Healing Feast offers food and community for healing connections with self, others, the earth, and the sacred. Singer/songwriter and sacred space facilitator founded and facilitates this monthly series to share nurturing, globally-inspired food that is mindful of the earth, along with practices to help us embody joy, healing, creativity, and abundance. This month's Healing Feast invites us into a Re-Enchanted World with an evening of wonder, discovery, and creativity for children, adults, and the inner child in us all. We are celebrating Día de las Velitas (a Colombian festival of candles) and exploring what it means to rediscover magic in ordinary life, and to experience all creatures and aspects of the earth as reflections of the divine with their own personhood.
Our facilitators will lead us into this Re-Enchanted World through theatrical arts, visual art, music, dance, and storytelling:
, set designer, carpenter, actor, director, dance caller, poet, and community-builder with a special gift for creating spontaneous, interactive magic.
Ava R. Euper, pastor, mother, author, and humanitarian who has recently been working on children's books with a multicultural, creative, empowering focus.
, visual artist, drummer, and conduit for healing community who creates space for children to be free and everyone to get in touch with child-like joy.
Menu: Colombian Arroz con Pollo, a flavorful rice with chicken, hot dogs, and veggies, and a vegan Arroz con Verduras with veggies, plant-based sausage, and garbanzos, plus Colombian-style Criolla potatoes with salt and lime and a dessert of Arroz con Leche (Rice Pudding). A gluten free and allergen-friendly meal (contact us with any questions).
