Embrace the sacred wisdom of the Andes through the life-changing Munay-Ki rites with Shamanic Facilitator, Amanda Larkin and Sound Healer, Jessica Starr on Sunday, May 24th. During this ceremonial gathering participants will have the opportunity to experience a sound bath, feather cleanse and so much more!Through invocation and a guided meditation we will set the intention to connect with our healing hands, and the divine healers of the past, present and future. Afterward we will go on a meditative walk through Fairy Forest to a sacred ceremonial space and proceed with creating a mandala created from nature elements and give gratitude. The meditative walk is a total of 2 miles. This is an outdoor event, guests will want to wear comfortable walking shoes, layers are always best for clothing and bring a water bottle. Optional items include: sunblock, bug repellent, hat, walking stick, etc…
The history:
The shamans of the Peruvian Andes and Amazon jungle have safeguarded sacred initiatory practices for hundreds of years — practices like the Munay-Ki rites, which connect you to a more transcendental life purpose and ignite profound personal and collective change. Munay-ki means the “power of love” — the unconditional love that Creator has for all of Creation. These rites have the power to erase both karmic and genetic wounds, reprogram your energy, and even unlock the rejuvenating potential within your DNA, allowing you to create a “new body” that heals and fosters vitality through the aging process.
For hundreds of years, the shamans of the Peruvian Andes and Amazon jungle have safeguarded sacred initiatory practices that hold the power to connect to a more transcendental life purpose. The Healer Rite is a natural beginning to become a medicine person. This rite connects us to an ancient and timeless lineage of healers who assist us in our personal transformation and awaken our healing abilities. To be a healer we must learn from our own experience how to transform our wounds into sources of wisdom and compassion.
For me, the Healer Rite is a reiteration of the commitment we make to ourselves to embark on the path of self. We can access tremendous spiritual assistance from a lineage that has been holding a seat for us around a sacred healing fire since the beginning of time. These are healers from the past, present, and future who help us address our childhood wounds, traumas and cycles inherited from our ancestors.
