The HBCU Classic Line Dancing Showcase is more than a dance event—it’s an experience that honors the rich traditions of HBCUs while bringing people of all ages and skill levels together through the joy of line dancing.

Whether you’re taking your very first steps or you’re a seasoned line dancer, you’ll enjoy exciting workshops, energetic performances, and opportunities to learn new dances from talented instructors and passionate dancers from across the region. This is a welcoming environment where everyone is invited to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories.

Beyond the dance floor, this showcase has a powerful purpose. Proceeds from the event will fund scholarships for students whose parents died by suicide, helping provide hope, educational opportunities, and support for young people as they pursue their dreams.

The weekend also extends ticket purchases for the the "Chasing Hope With Laughter" Comedy Show being held at the Nash Family Center inside the Pro Footbal Hall of Fame begining at 7:00 Friday September 4th brought to you by Chasing Hope House Inc.

The 2026 Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic takes place over Labor Day weekend in Canton, Ohio, featuring a matchup between Albany State and Johnson C. Smith on Sunday, September 6, 2026. The game will kick off at 4:00 PM ET at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
