Many know Christian and Deja through Pride events, drag performances, Indigenous advocacy, cultural work, and community organizing. Whether hosting events, creating welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+2S people, advocating for Indigenous rights, mentoring performers, or simply showing up for others in times of need, Christian has spent years pouring love, energy, humor, and heart back into community.Now it’s our turn to show up for him. On Saturday, June 13, friends, family, performers, and community members will gather at the Rail River Folk School for an evening of food, entertainment, connection, laughter, and fundraising to support Christian and Kemari as they navigate Christian’s cancer treatment.
