The Haunting of Beban House
About this Event
Think you’re brave enough to enter Beban House after dark?
The Haunting of Beban House returns October 23 & 24 for two nights of scares inside one of Nanaimo’s most historic buildings. BGC Central Vancouver Island transforms Beban House into a full haunted house experience, with themed rooms, creepy characters, unexpected scares, and plenty of surprises waiting around the next corner.
Full Scare Nights: October 23 & 24 | 6:00–10:00 p.m.
Our evening haunted house is designed for those looking for the full experience. Expect dark rooms, loud noises, flashing lights, live actors, jump scares, creepy props, and other effects as you make your way through the house. If being chased, startled, or having something appear where you definitely weren’t expecting it sounds like your kind of Halloween, this is the event for you.
The full-scare experience may not be suitable for young children or anyone who is sensitive to frightening imagery, darkness, loud sounds, or sudden scares.
Family-Friendly Haunting: October 24 | 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Want to see the haunted house without quite so much haunting? During our daytime family event, we turn down the scares so younger visitors can explore too.
Families can walk through the decorated house and check out the rooms, characters, and Halloween displays in a much less frightening environment. It’s a chance for kids to experience the fun of a haunted house without the intensity of our evening events.
A Haunted House for a Good Cause
The Haunting of Beban House is a fundraiser for BGC Central Vancouver Island. All proceeds support programs for children and youth in our community.
Come for a scare, bring some friends, and help support local kids while you’re at it.
