The Hat Trick Ride 2026
About this Event
The Hat Trick Ride
Grab your bike and get ready as The Hat Trick Ride returns for 2026! With opportunities to visit three different establishments in western Oakland County — each great in their own way — this event will make for a fun late-summer afternoon ride. Celebrate the first day of the NFL season, too.
Starting at Drafting Table Brewing Co. in Wixom, the route follows the Air Line and Huron Valley Trails southwest to your first optional stop — Whole Hearted Winery/Brewery/Distillery in New Hudson. After that, continue south on the HVT for a few more miles to South Lyon, and prepare to enter a tropical oasis at Waycaster Tiki Bar. Waycaster is nomally closed on Sundays; they are opening just for us.
Visit two or three of the stops; it's up to you and how far you want to ride. If you're feeling adventurous, take the west branch of the HVT and do a circuit around Kensington Park.
Each registration comes with a fun new swag item: custom socks. PLUS, proceeds from the event assist efforts in helping convince local government officials to install a proper signalized crossing on the HVT at Pontiac Trail in Lyon Twp.
NOTE: Your ride ticket does not include food or alcoholic beverages; those purchases are at the discretion of each participant at each location. You will have many options, but the best place for food options will be at Whole Hearted.
To ensure a good experience at our partner establishments, this event is limited to 70 participants total. There is a decent chance it will sell out, so purchase your tickets promptly.
Mark your calendars and join us for a fun cycling experience on the Michigan Air Line and Huron Valley Trails. Don't miss out on this fun opportunity to explore the area on two wheels!
