Registration is required.
The cost is $10 per binder (which covers both sessions). You will want ONE BINDER PER PERSON, not per couple. The binder will include all the class information for BOTH classes, including forms, and is an easy reference and place to keep your important documents.
The Conversation:
Presented by Carol Quiring, RN and CGE (Certified Grief Educator), Certified in Grief Movement, Operations Consultant for Woods Chapel Church, and Retired CEO of Saint Luke’s Home Care & Hospice
September 21 at 1:00 PM in the Lecture Hall or at 6:30 PM via Zoom.
Understanding what happens when a loved one is diagnosed with a serious, life-altering, or terminal illness causes stress and pressure on families at a time when every moment is precious. But once you've outlined how you want to be cared for and just how much medical intervention is enough, it will relieve you and your loved ones of difficult decision-making when there really isn't curative treatment. Have that conversation before you can't. Give your family this gift.
You are NEVER too young or old to provide these answers to the people who love you the most and who will be forced to make these decisions if you don't.
This program will also explore in some detail funeral planning and options that are available to families today.
