The Haralds is a modern country pop and singer-songwriter band originally from Kokkola. The siblings in the band: Max Åström, Mindy Svenlin and Ebba Åström officially started the band in 2019, but they’ve been playing and singing together since they were kids. Their first album ”Memories” was released in 2022.
The Haralds is known for their part-singing, synchronicity and their down-to-earthness. Their original songs combine vibes from country, soft rock and singer-songwriter music. Relatable and moving lyrics is one of The Haralds’ strengths.
The siblings grew up in a small place in Kokkola, Finland called Haralds. They wanted to put Haralds on the map and chose to name their band after the place as an ode to Haralds and their childhood home.
In September 2025 the band will release their second album ”Destiny”. Come celebrate this release at the Doo-Bop Club September 6th, accompanied by Johnny Nordström (keys), Tuukka Aitoaho (drums), Stefan Lindblom (bass), and Janne Hyöty (electric guitar).
