Led by singer-songwriter Nick Petty, after a brief incarceration The Happys are Nicks stories some true some not craft songs that explore the human experience with depth and relatable anthems of resilience to reflective ballads, their music speaks to life's highs, lows, and everything in between. Known for their electrifying live Performances, the band has built a reputation for captivating audiences with their passionate delivery and magnetic stage presence.
With over 13 years of hard work and dedication, The Happys have earned spots alongside acts like Sublime with Rome, Dwight Yoakham, Hobo Johnson, Bone Thugs and Harmony, gaining recognition for their professionalism and dynamic performances. They have won multiple awards from Haight Ashbury 2018 battle of the bands, Petaluma Lagunitas Beer battle of the bands, 2nd place Fourth of July parade Larkspur 2024, 2023 north bay bohemian best punk rock band and more!

Because of Nick Petty‘s background and addiction also and being clean for 15 years, Nick Petty donates a lot of time to ambassadors of Hope and opportunity and speaks weekly at marin County Jail to the inmates. AHO is a nonprofit that helps homeless youth, and at risk youth. The bigger the Happys get, the more word spread to help youth!
