Step inside The Happy Space; a colourful pop-up storytelling dome packed with imagination, creativity, and family fun! 🌈✨
Created especially for children and families, this playful experience brings Stories of Home to life through live storytelling, interactive play, and hands-on making. From favourite foods and funny family moments to pets, places, sounds, and memories, every session celebrates the little things that make home feel special ❤️
After the story, families can get crafty together, creating their own keepsake to take home as part of the adventure.
Warm, welcoming, and bursting with colour, The Happy Space is a joyful place to pause, play, imagine, and share stories together.

Middlesbrough Storytelling Festival takes over the town from 24 June - 1 July with a huge programme of literature, music, dance, creativity, family activities, and live events for all ages 📖🎶🎭
As part of the festival, a full day of events and activities will be held in Middlesbrough Town Centre on Saturday 27 June; we’re proud to be part of the action!
The Middlesbrough Storytelling Festival is brought to you by Middlesbrough Council, in partnership with the National Literacy Trust and Teesside University. It coincides with the National Year of Reading.
