This delightful farce, written by John Dighton, is Hooky Players next production. Set in the mid-1940’s in the shabby common room of a minor Hampshire boys' school, this genial farce is reminiscent of chalk dust and cricket pads. Yet the crusty teachers are shaken from their apathy by the news that they must share their accommodation with an evacuated establishment. Naturally a mix-up ensures that the new arrivals turn up with pigtails and hockey sticks! The resulting mayhem, as you might imagine, sees pranks, blunders and the inevitable misunderstandings of unexpected parental visits.
