This week at Father Hennepin Bluff Park we are hosting The Hamm Sammies, a country group. Without the sky-blue waters, the Hamm Sammies would be nobodies from nowhere. When they when the Hamm Sammies set out to write country music, they gravitated toward a more syncopated, swampy sound: country music played in between the cracks. Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
