Vanishing Elephant Players presents The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals!
Music and lyrics by Jeff Blim, book by Matt and Nick Lang.

Everything in Hatchetfield seemed normal until people began singing... Then, they began dancing... And now, a musical pandemic is sweeping the entire city. It’s up to Paul (an average guy who doesn’t like musicals) and his friends to stop this musical apocalypse and fight for humanity’s future in this horror/sci-fi/comedy musical originally produced by Team Starkid.
NOTE: Play includes some adult language and sexual themes.

Performance dates: July 24-25, July 31, August 1 at 7:30pm, July 26 and August 2 at 3:30pm

Tickets are $20 general admission.
We also have a limited number of free community tickets! Please use if you need, no questions asked. They work just like general admission tickets and must be "purchased" online.

Proceeds go toward the restoration of our home theater, the Historic Masonic Temple of Bay City. Please note that due to stairs leading into the building, as well as down to the bathrooms, our building may not be accessible to some.

PARKING INFORMATION: As of October 1st, 2025, the parking lot on the corner of Madison and Center belonging to the Osgood Building (formerly the Scottish Rite) will no longer be available for patrons of the Historic Masonic Temple. Available parking for HMT Events includes:
6th Street (South Side of HMT)
Center Avenue (in front of Wirt Library)
MCI Insurance (across Madison Ave)
Pyramid Paving
Public Lots on 5th Street
We thank you for your patience in this matter!
