The Gruffalo at Greenhill

Venue: Greenhill Children's Library
Join us at Greenhill library with storytellers Cat & Hutch on Saturday 4th July for a special reading of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's timeless book as we take a journey back into the deep, dark wood to meet mouse, fox, owl and snake.
There will also be a chance to meet the Gruffalo himself as we launch this year's Fantastic Summer Club (FSC) and celebrate the National Year of Reading.
You can also pick up a copy of our limited-edition "The Gruffalo" library membership card when you sign-up for the FSC!
Suitable for families with children aged 4-11. All children must be accompanied.
Scary creatures with poisonous warts on the end of their noses can be overwhelming for little ones. We regret this activity is not suitable for Babies and Toddlers.

The Fantastic Summer Club
Discover a world of stories, creativity and imagination this summer at your local library.
Children aged 4-11 can sign up for the FSC and receive one of our exclusive new membership cards featuring The Gruffalo or Harry Potter.
Take part in six club activities - including reading at least two books - collect stickers and be entered into a draw to win great prizes including a family entry ticket to The Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour!
FSC members can also enjoy a free swim with Everyone Active at Harrow Leisure Centre plus look out for tie-in events with our friends at Headstone Manor.
The Fantastic Summer Club runs from 4th July to 12th September 2026 at Harrow Libraries.
