The morning players meeting is essential if you are new to playing with Catch em All Canines.
Field Information
The field will be held in the field behind Athens Community Center. This will be taking place during "The Original Ohio Brew Week"
Please clean up after your dog and keep them on leash until they are playing their run. Please put them back on leash as soon as they have finished their run. There will be porta potties and a dog pool onsite.
Parking/Tents
You may only park in the parking lot. You cannot park or drive on the grass. Please see field graphic on where to park and where you can set up. Due to the busy nature of this event and possible hot temperatures, we recommend crating/tenting in the blue spaces outlined. We recommend arriving early for set up.
Run Order
Run orders will be posted online and on the board. The run orders have reactive dogs marked so we can set them up for success the best we can. Our goal is to keep the day moving. We will have one dog on the field, one dog waiting near the field, and two to three dogs in line at a time. (Adjustments made for reactive dogs as needed). IF YOU ARE NOT READY, YOU WILL BE SKIPPED AND ADDED BACK IN BY THE BOARD COORDINATOR! If you are late past the conclusion of a game, it is up to the event host if your run can be fit in later. There is not a scheduled lunch break so please plan to bring food or let the board coordinator know prior to leaving so adjustments can be made as needed.
Rule Breaking
If you or another competitor runs into trouble with another player or event attendee, please report this immediately to the Catch em All Canines team. This includes but not limited to: dogs being off leash outside the field space, aggressive unruly dogs, combative or aggressive people, etc.
Photobooth
Photobooth is set up on the trailer for your use! Typically the photobooths are in theme with the event. We LOVE photos and videos so please tag us or send some for us to share! Sometimes we put together end of event recap videos for fun! So take lots of photos!

Players meetings will NOT be held prior to playing each game. Please review the rules, chat with local players or discuss rules with an available judge.
If time allows, we can add other games same day depending on competitor interest. Maximum is 10 runs/dog a day.
Except TNG and Freestyle level 2, you must have a gold up achievement in order to play level 2 games for points!
Placements and Awards
An award ceremony takes place at the end of every day with the main overall ceremony on the last event day. Typically, these start around 5:30pm but it is dependent on the conclusion time of the event. If you can, I recommend hanging out or having a friend there just in case you win something since we award more than just top 3 placements!
Personal Bests are awarded based on the most current recorded best for your team in that game. Collect 5 for a free run!
Novelty Prizes are awarded based on criteria that day. Could be teamwork, catch of the day, holding criteria or something incredible the judges were impressed by!
Run Cost
Pre-registration will cost $13/round.
Walk up registration/Try Its will be available after the closing date, runs that are DOS will cost $15/round. The closing date for pre-registration for this event is July 5th 11:59pm. Day of show run fees must be submitted the day of the event. If payment has not been received, that run will not be submitted and that may prevent you from adding day of show runs in the future.
Free Try Its will be available during the event but will not count for points!
Personal Best Token Exchange Policy
If you are planning to exchange 5 tokens for a free run, please submit these to the event host, Amanda Burkhart, prior to making your payment for this event. You will then get a code to apply at check out you must submit tokens no later than the end of day at the event. Maximum 1 free run per dog per event but there is no limit when they are used for additional runs outside of events. We are not responsible for lost PB tokens. You can only earn PB tokens if you have an activated team as personal bests are not tracked with guest teams.
Refund Policy:
Full refunds will not be available for any Catch em All Canines event. In the event of an injury to yourself or your dog, you may submit a vet/doctor's note to [email protected] for a refund minus any admin fees the club may have incurred. In all other situations you may request a partial refund by the deadlines as follows:
For a 75% refund – You must put in your request at least twenty-one (21) days before the original event date (6/20)
For a 50% refund – You must put in your request at least fourteen (14) days before the original event date (6/27)
For a 25% refund – You must put in your request at least seven (7) days before the original event date (7/4)
Refund requests received less than seven (7) days before the original event date, will not be eligible for a refund.
Refund requests will be accepted by email only (Not on facebook messenger) and must be received by the stated refund deadline(s).
