GROW Expo is more than a plant show—it’s a two-day celebration of plants, creativity, education, and community coming to Houston October 17–18, 2026.
Created by GROW by Rooted Treasures, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, GROW Expo brings plant lovers, collectors, families, makers, and curious beginners together for an immersive weekend where shopping and discovery also support a greater purpose.
What to Expect
🌿 Curated Plant & Artisan Vendors
Shop a diverse marketplace featuring houseplants, rare and collectible plants, plant accessories, handmade goods, art, gifts, and more.
🎓 Hands-On Workshops & Education
Learn something new through interactive workshops covering topics including tissue culture acclimation, moss poles, terrariums, hydroponics, and kokedama.
🎉 Plant Bingo, Giveaways & Activities
Join Plant Bingo, participate in the GROW Expo scavenger hunt, explore interactive experiences, and enjoy opportunities to win plants and prizes throughout the weekend.
🌱 FREE Plants for Early Guests
The first 250 guests each day will receive a FREE plant or tissue culture plant while supplies last.
👗 Runway in Bloom
See plants meet creativity during our Sunday fashion show contest featuring botanical-inspired looks.
🎃 Children’s Costume Contest
Young attendees can join the fun with a special costume contest on Sunday.
🎓 GROW Scholarship Awards
GROW Expo has a mission beyond the marketplace. On Sunday, we’ll celebrate the recipients of the GROW Scholarship Program, awarding scholarships to support students pursuing their educational goals.
VIP Early Access
Want first pick of the plants?
Saturday begins with VIP Early Access from 9:00 AM–11:00 AM, giving VIP ticket holders two hours to shop before General Admission begins.
