𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐮𝐬!On January 9, we’re coming together again — 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐱 𝐘𝐎𝐑𝐁𝐀, and this time with a sound meditation included, to create a warm, groovy dancefloor as we kick off the new year!
Expect a mix of deep-rhythmic sounds, from slow ambient to drums and more energetic beats.
❤︎Doors open at 18:00, so you can arrive and land in the beautiful room. We begin at 18:30 and move together for two hours.
❤︎We’ll close the session with a sound meditation and warm cacao
❤︎Take breaks whenever you need and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Wear comfortable clothes that don’t limit your movements!
❤︎Open to all levels, no experience needed. Feel free to invite your friends!
❤︎This space is sober,
we ask for no intoxication.
The Groove is led by Karen Klepp og Heidi Evensen (BODYBASED) & Vibeke Vigeland (YORBA) who brings extensive experience from dance and facilitation. The initiative comes from our shared desire to dance more across generations and to make movement-based spaces open and accessible for more people.
This time, we’re joined by Claudio Aiello, who will lead the sound meditation for us.
The venue is located at Majorstuen, Bogstadveien 49. Ring the doorbell and follow the stairs up to the space.
