The Grit and Grace Games

The Grit and Grace Games is a bold, energising fitness event created for women 40+ to challenge themselves, connect with others and discover what they’re capable of.
Taking place on Saturday 12 September 2026 at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, London, the Games bring together women of different fitness levels, from those new to fitness or returning after a break, to regular runners, gym-goers and experienced competitors.
The day is centred around a fitness challenge combining 8 x 400m runs with 8 functional fitness zones. Expect a mix of strength, endurance and determination, with exercises using dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags and slam balls..
There are three ways to get involved: Going Solo, Doubles or as a four-person Relay team. Whether you want to take on the whole challenge yourself, share the work with a partner or bring your friends together as a team, there’s a way to be part of it.
The Grit and Grace Games is about much more than racing. Expect a live DJ, an inspiring panel talk featuring real stories from women who have discovered what’s possible through movement, plus health, wellbeing, movement and recovery brands to explore throughout the day.
You don't need to be the fastest, strongest or most experienced woman there. The challenge is about showing up, giving it a go and seeing where it might take you.
