Come together in a community space to recognize and honor our experiences living with late-diagnosed ADHD, autism, and auDHD.
About this Event

This 3-hour workshop will explore the experience of grief following a late diagnosis or self-diagnosis, including the impact of dominant, neurotypical frameworks for grief and processing. Grief + Late Diagnosis is open to anyone 18 or older interested in coming together in a community space to recognize and honor our experiences living with ADHD, autism, and auDHD. This workshop will combine psychoeducation, group discussion, and art/processing experiences.

Whether you are questioning and exploring your experience of neurodivergence or have been formally diagnosed, the spirit of this workshop explores the myriad ways that grief and celebration can coexist.

How to Join (The 3-Step Process)

We want to ensure every participant feels comfortable and informed before a session begins.

  1. Register on Eventbrite: Pay your registration via Eventbrite + Kelsey will contact you to get your Connection Call scheduled. Alternatively, you can email Kelsey directly ([email protected]) to express interest or ask questions.
  2. Complete Connection Call: All interested participants must schedule a FREE 10-15 minute phone call. This space allows you to discuss the workshop topic, ask direct questions, and confirm your paid rate for the workshop you wish to attend.
  3. Complete Paperwork: Once you decide to move forward, Kelsey will send you a few AMP-required forms related to workshop consent and practice privacy policies.

Community-Pay Pricing & Philosophy

We believe that support during grief should be accessible, regardless of financial circumstances. To live out this value, The Grief Sessions utilizes a Community-Pay Model.

This tiered-system allows us to offer a range of price points for each workshop. We invite you to choose the tier that best reflects your current financial reality. By choosing a higher tier, you directly “pay it forward,” creating space for fellow grievers to access these sessions at a lower cost.

  • Community: $50– This is the general admission option. Ideally, for folks who are currently experiencing financial hardship, students, or those with limited flexible income.
  • Community Sustainer: $75–For folks comfortably able to meet their basic needs who wish to cover the actual cost of their own attendance.
  • Community Supporter: $100 or more. For folks with stable housing, disposable income, and the desire to subsidize a partial spot for another community member. This ticket tier helps to subsidize (1) FREE spot at one of our upcoming grief workshops.

Refund policy: By signing up for the workshop you agree to give Kelsey seven (7) days' notice via email ([email protected]) if you need to cancel; otherwise, you will forfeit your ticket fee for this event/workshop. This workshop requires 5+ people to run. If attendance is too low, AMP will issue a refund via the original payment method within 7-10 days of the scheduled workshop date.
