Join us for an informative lecture by Licensed Professional Counselor Julie Church as we learn how to use nature to as an aid to regulate our emotional health.Following the lecture, we will have our plant swap. To participate in the plant swap, please bring a plant.
Julie Church, M.S., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Integrative Warrior Assistance, a nonprofit supporting the mental health of first responders and their families. Combining evidence-based therapy, including EMDR, with nature-based practices, Julie helps clients heal from trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress.
Her holistic approach integrates techniques like forest bathing, earthing, and mindfulness in natural settings to support nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and resilience. As a mother of three and spouse of a first responder, Julie brings deep empathy and practical insight to her work, guiding clients toward healing through both traditional and natural methods.
Parking: Parking is always tight at these events. In order to accommodate everyone, please park at the old convenient store past The Boho Being and walk over.
