The Mass Arts Center announces open auditions for The Greats: A Summer RevueThe Greats will be an original Broadway revue celebrating the work of some musical theater’s greatest composers. Pulling material from Porter, Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Sondheim, Schwartz, Lloyd-Webber, Kander & Ebb, Miranda, Ahrens & Flaherty, and others, The Greats will be an exciting fast paced original revue that will celebrate the spirit of the musical theater genre through the lens of some of Broadway’s greatest storytellers.

AUDITIONS:
Open Auditions:
Sunday April 26, 2026
Session I: 3:00-5:00pm
Session II 6:00-8:00pm
Location: The Mass Arts Center, 888 South Main Street, Mansfield, MA 02048
For open auditions, actors will book a time during a 2 hour time slot. Actors should prepare 32-64 bars of a song that showcases the best aspects of their vocal range, abilities, and storytelling. Actors will participate in a short movement audition upon arrival and then be released after their vocal audition. Vocal audition order will be determined based upon arrival.
The Mass Arts Center is committed to equity, diversity and inclusion. As such, we encourage performers of all races and ethnicities, gender identities, sexualities, and abilities to audition. Auditions are open to all performers ages 6 and up. The production staff also will consider non-traditional casting options, including double casting featured roles in order to accommodate summer schedules/conflicts as necessary.

Rehearsals:
*Rehearsals will occur primarily on Sundays, Mondays & Wednesdays.
Rehearsals will begin the week of 05/17/2026
*Subject to change based on actor availability
Production Dates:
The Greats will run for 8 performances over two weekends:
Thursday 7/16, Friday 7/17, Saturday 7/18, & Sunday 7/19 matinee
Thursday 7/23, Friday 7/24, Saturday 7/25, & Sunday 7/26 matinee
