Who was history's most notorious troublemaker? The rabble-rouser, revolutionary, union agitator, insurrectionist or working-class hero who most deserves the title? We're putting the question to the people!

Join South Island Workers for an evening of convivial company, a little cabaret, and some gloriously partisan historical showmanship. We're recruiting a band of champions, each ready to make the case for their chosen troublemaker. Expect spirited advocacy, outrageous puffery, dubious claims to greatness and a contest to determine who deserves the title of Greatest Troublemaker of All Time!

Spartacus? Rosa Luxemburg? Subcomandante Marcos? Emma Goldman? Che Guevara? Louise Michel? Toussaint Louverture? Elizabeth Gurley Flynn? Jesus of Nazareth? Someone else entirely? The contenders are theirs to choose, and the arguments are theirs to make. But the audience shall decide!

With a few revolutionary songs and other musical interludes along the way.

Come for the company, stay for the trouble. Bring a friend, raise a glass, and help us decide who deserves a place in the People's Hall of Infamy.
