Join us for the inaugural Great West Walk – a brand-new community walking challenge that brings people together to explore Exeter, get active and support local wellbeing.
Starting and finishing at St James Park, you'll follow sections of Exeter's beautiful Green Circle, taking in parks, nature reserves, green spaces and local communities along the way. Whether you're a regular walker or simply looking for a new challenge, this fully guided event is designed to be welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable for all.
What to expect
🥾 A guided 12-mile (20km) walking challenge
🌳 Explore Exeter's stunning Green Circle route
☕ Four community checkpoints with hot drinks and snacks
🚶 Guided walking groups led by experienced staff and volunteers
