Yes, we are doing it.
Tuesday November 5th, after we have all worked through a day of dread and made it to the polls, we will open the doors of the Mobtown Ballroom and gather together as citizens and humans to watch the results come in. The bar and the kitchen will be open, so bring an appetite. We'll have the news on the projector, but we will also play excellent tunes and spend time with excellent people.
This event is free, and will run from 8-midnight. It is very likely that nothing will be conclusive by that point, but at least you won't be sitting at home alone wringing your hands and posting on social media. You'll have a drink in your hand and a yelp in your throat, like a goddamn American.
We are all well aware that this election is tight and incredibly high-stakes. Be kind to one another. Resolve to do your small part to fight the idiots and fascists for the rest of your life.
