Wirral Pomona and Incredible Edible, Hoylake, enlist your help to drive the Boggarts, Pestilences, Nuisances and Miseries from the Community Orchard in Meols Park (behind the Railway Inn in Meols) bringing Health, Plenty, Frivolity, Song, Dance and Good Cheer to all. With the true story of the Old Wassail, enlivened with a taste of hot cider, and warmed with a jig around the trees. Bring cakes, pies, biscuits to share! We'll also have a visit from Hoylake Border Morris, a new local side, to play music and lead dancing, including teaching visitors how to join in! Sticks and jackets provided, but bring your own cup for a toast of wild spiced apple juice and get some ribbons in your hats!
