Good Bug Days at The Apple Barn
Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13th
10 AM-3 PM -Free family event
Come celebrate the tiny farm helpers that keep our fields growing.
Join the Rooted Hands Project for two days of hands-on outdoor fun as we explore the fascinating world of beneficial bugs here at The Apple Barn. Families are invited to stop by anytime between 10 and 3 for a self-guided farm experience designed especially for curious kiddos, nature lovers and anyone who enjoys a little magic in the garden.
Take a walk around the fields with our interactive ladybug story walk, learn how ladybugs help protect plants naturally, and discover other incredible "good bugs" we love to see on the farm.
Each child will also have the opportunity to help release their own ladybugs into the fields as they read through the story walk.
This is a relaxed, self-led experience meant to encourage families to slow down, explore the land, and connect with the small but mighty creatures that play such an important role in our ecosystem.
No registration required. Just bring your sneakers (or boots) and your curiosity.
