ast year we introduced “The Great Cardboard Challenge” as a fun and festive cardboard cat house crafting competition for adults. Since it’s nearly the most wonderful time of the fear—whoops, I meant year—we’re thrilled to announce The Great Cardboard Challenge: Haunted Cat Houses, a Halloween-themed evening! Get a terrifying team together and celebrate the spooky season by creating a haunted house for the cats at HSHV.In this creepy competition, teams will use the provided cardboard and craft supplies to create, construct, and decorate the best haunted cat house. After a prestigious peer-review process, the top teams will win a prize! This spook-tacular event will also include a tour through our cat area, an animal meet and greet, and light snacks.
Registration: $20 per person, includes all materials and refreshments. Due to space limitations, pre-registration is required. All craft supplies will be provided, please do not bring any outside craft materials.
Though we recommend participating as a team, registration is done individually. You will be asked the name of your team during registration.
