The Great British Spring Clean Litter Pick- Coach Road/Beggars Wood Park

Join us for a friendly, feel-good community litter pick as part of the Great British Spring Clean, the nationwide effort led by Keep Britain Tidy to give our streets, parks and green spaces a proper spring refresh.

Along side the litter pick, Gateshead Council will be present on site, providing a range of services from path maintenance work and strimming, to grafitti removal to help spruce up the area.

All equipment and PPE will be provided, just bring sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing and a bit of neighbourly spirit. It’s a lovely way to meet people, get some fresh air, and leave our local area looking its best.

Litter Pick Meeting Location: Beggars Wood Park, Adjacent to Play Park

Time: Session running between 10:00-12:30pm

Parking: Small Free Car park available @15 Rowanwood Gardens, NE11 0DP (short walk to meet location) Please note: Coach Road park entrance will be closed for vehicle access on the day.

Pre-booking your place is not Essential but due to limited capacity, we strongly encourage that you do (especially if you are coming as a group). This will help event organisers to plan the day and ensure there is enough equipment to go around. You can do this via the 'Reserve a spot' botton on this event page.
