There will be a launch night on Thursday 19th November at 7:30PM at Blackfriars Theatre & Arts Centre to introduce you to the show and the production team will be available for any questions you may have.
Audition dates will be Tuesday 24th November 2026 7:30PM till 10:00PM and Sunday 29th November 2026 10:00AM till 4:00PM. If you are unable to make either of these dates, please speak to Christian Slingsby and an online audition may be available, but this is at the discretion of the audition panel.
Auditions will take place at Blackfriars Arts Centre on Spain Lane in Boston PE21 6HP
We will be holding open auditions, usually with a panel of 5 people. The panel will consist of the Director – Christian Slingsby, Assistant Director/Choreographer – Clare Allen, Musical Director – Becky Taylor/Beau Williams, Production Manager and an independent
At auditions you will be required to take part in the group dance/movement sessions. If auditioning for a principal role you will need to sing and read the audition pieces of the character/s that you wish to be considered for. If just auditioning for chorus, then you will need to take part in the group singing audition and will not be required to sing on your own. All small parts will be given out at the production teams discretion, but if you wish to be considered for a certain part, please let us know on your audition form.
For your audition we do not require for you to have learnt the part you are auditioning for word for word, BUT we will want to see that you have looked at the audition pieces and can show us how you would portray the role
