As part of the UK's largest celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature, this event will bring together local organisations, activities and initiatives that are helping to create a greener future for our town.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet local Green Champion organisations, learn more about sustainability projects taking place in the area and discover simple ways to make a positive difference.
A key highlight of the day will be the chance to help name Leighton Linslade Town Council's first electric vehicle, marking an exciting milestone in the council's commitment to reducing emissions and supporting a more sustainable future.
There will also be plenty of interactive activities to enjoy, including:
• A recycling game
• The Eco Pledge Board
• Information and displays from the LLTC team
• A chance to see the council's new electric van and composter
• Opportunities to meet local environmental groups and community organisations
