The Grandsons have released eight CDs, two EPs, and have appeared on dozens of compilation over the years, including Raise the Roof (live recordings from the Barns at Wolf Trap), and various Hungry for Music compilations (backing such notables as Lester Chambers, Evan Johns, and Ruth Brown). Their recordings and live performances have earned them 15 WAMMIE awards from the Washington Area Music Association, including Artist of the Year, Best Roots Rock Recording, Best Roots Rock Band, Best Children’s Act, Best Album Design, Best Blues Musician (Chris), and best Pop band.
