Join us for an exciting and meaningful day at Sherwood Care's Grand Parade on Sunday, September 22, 2024! 🎉We invite you to walk with us as we support seniors in our community. Sherwood Care is a continuing care facility dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals who can no longer care for themselves. Owned and operated by Adventist Health Systems - Alberta, a health ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Sherwood Care has been committed to quality care for 55 years. Our philosophy is simple: This is the resident’s home, and we are their guests.
Event Schedule:
10:00 am: Meet Check-in + Welcome
11:00 am: Move Send-off
12:00 pm: Munch Light meal served
1:00 pm: Mosey Thank You! See you in 2025!

Route Details:
Route Distances: Choose to walk either 2.5 km or 5 km with us.
Rest Stop: Enjoy yummy snacks and drinks at our rest stop.
Signage: Follow our bold burgundy TGP signs along the route.
Route Support: Our route marshals and rest stop hosts will be there to support you.
Important: Walkers 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. NO PETS allowed, except for approved and trained service animals.
Whether you’re walking, volunteering, or cheering on participants, your support helps us continue our mission to provide a homelike environment for our residents.
