I’m sure you’ve heard of the Golden Demon…
Well, this little event of ours is designed to help you gain what it takes to move up and compete, perhaps like you never thought possible. The rules are simple:
—Choose a Warhammer model to paint. Just one model. Base it however you like.
—You have until January 2nd 2027 to paint that model.
—Models will be displayed in store and judged both by popular vote and by rubric that day.
—Every painter who participates will have the opportunity to share the story of their painting journey with the community.
The rubric will include:
—Points for cohesiveness, theme, contrast, and other categories of artistic and color theory.
—Basic, intermediate, and advanced technical abilities, will be judged on a gradient scale.
Completing a project like this is a reward in and of itself, but ultimately one winner will be chosen. We have some very talented painters in our community, and this is an opportunity to really get some traction in developing your painting skills.
